This year marks the 7th anniversary of the reinterment of the Anson Street African Ancestors. We invite the community to gather in remembrance, reflection, and care as we honor their lives and legacies.
This commemoration holds special significance as it will be the first observed with the permanent memorial in place, offering a new space for connection, reverence, and collective healing.
As in previous years, the ceremony will include libations, reflections, and prayer.
